No More Allegory
Mr. Orwell, your pen, please
The greatest thing about it is its availability. It has no boundaries, and it is always welcoming new participants. There is a simple structure that explains how it operates, and it exists within every facet of society. First, there are the chosen arenas. A participant must pick one or multiple if they so wish. These are the arenas: public relations, job sites, interpersonal interactions, a place of worship, romantic partners, institutions, romantic partnerships, and media. Then there are the entry points. Here things get a bit complex. There is entry by age, perceived status, or entry by shame. Entry by age has a couple of stages or upgrades, if you will. Children choose their arena of choice with their first encounter of self. At this entry point, depending on where you are in the world, this child can drink, drive, and dine without their parents. So maybe at 16, they were hanging out at the interpersonal, institutional, or media arenas, but now they can upgrade to others, like romantic partnerships and public relations.
