Please, is it politics or sense?

Is it something to possess

Or are you eerily obsessed?

With ideals from...never mind, 

You are not at your best


Please, let it be sense over politics

Or maybe reason with some kindness

But who is the weak man with no censorship

Overwhelmed by his own politics

How about you at your best


Please, let it be life over sense and politics

Halt the bullet, halt the ballot

Choose awareness, choose the conscious

Maybe try some common sense

The heart knows you at your best
