My Career Journey
My astrology describes me as a “true individual” because I apparently have a Uranus complex or something. If anyone is an expert at this, I’d be open to a reading. Nonetheless, I am highly individualistic. At first, I believed it stemmed from pain and ostracization, then I believed it stemmed from a need to distinguish myself—not because I believed myself to be special, but because I was, and will continue to be, humane. Now, I’ve come to realize it is a part of who I am. I can’t not distinguish myself. My path has been too unique, and I’ve yet to meet someone who reminds me of me.
My career path has been unconventional to say the least. I used to fancy the idea that I was a generalist, multitalented, or even gifted. And I am all of those things in some ways, but I’ve suffocated under the pressure to be everything for everyone. This, paired with chronic depression, is a recipe for disaster. I’d say that I humbly began with every artistic path I pursued.
